Woody Harrelson 'Insisted' On Helping Strangers Move Out Of Their NYC Apartment

There are few things I love more than finding out a celebrity I love it actually a fabulous person. Trust me, I know a lot of them aren't, which is why I never want to meet any of my celebrity heroes — however, if other people want to meet my idols and tell me how it goes, I'd love it!

Thankfully for fans of Woody Harrelson, we can sleep easy knowing he is the man both on-screen and off.

Hollywood is full of amazing celebrities.

And our favorite ones tend to be those who are always in the news for literally just being kind and cool.

That's what makes us love them so much.

Keanu Reeves for example, is one of those people.

So it's always nice to hear or read about moments where celebrities are so down to earth.

Unfortunately, meeting them to see just how nice they are, seems like a faraway dream.

In MY dreams, I live in a Carrie Bradshaw-esque brownstone in Manhattan.

Also in those dreams, I'm brushing shoulders with celebrities and having cute little movie-worthy moments in my everyday life.

If you can believe it, this dream was a reality for an NYC couple recently, and I'm so jealous!

Chatting with The Guardian, reporter Alex Janin and her boyfriend, music producer Grant Jefferson, shared their once-in-a-lifetime story.

The pair explained that while moving their stuff out of their New York City apartment this past weekend, they got some very high-profile help from Woody Harrelson.

"Woody Harrelson helped us move out of our apartment today. Love you, NYC," Alex tweeted this past weekend.

"YES I am aware that my fiddle leaf is basically dead. And yes, Woody did tell me I should water it more," she added.

She took to Twitter to further explain *how* this happened.

"I was moving my bike into the U-haul and he came out of a nearby store to ask if I knew where the closest citibike station was. Then we chatted for a while and he offered to help us! We said no but he insisted and was so kind."

Grant told the publication "I was just thinking to myself, 'Only in New York.'"

"Naturally, I didn’t want to burden him with helping us but could not turn down having the story to tell my friends."

But it gets even better! He even gave her advice on her plant.

So not only is he a super sweet man, but he knows his plants!

Woody Harrelson is seriously becoming the man of my dreams. We love a plant dad!

In the comment section, people started to talk about their own experiences with the star!

This user even ended up positing pictures of Harrelson at the wedding!

Honestly, this guy sounds like he knows how to have a good time.

Another user shared a super sweet story about her son.

If Woody Harrelson wants to pull a Dirty Dancing and hold me up over his head, I am TOTALLY fine with that.

I'm ready when he is.

I'm so happy Woody is just as charming in real life as they are on-screen!
