People Online Say The Viral Twisted Bacon Hack Makes For Crispier Bacon

If you asked me what my favorite food was, I would most likely say bacon. It's actually a toss-up between that and French Fries. Or I can just have both, ha, ha!

So I'm no stranger to cooking bacon. However, I've never made it quite like this before. If you love bacon as much as I do, you better keep reading.

There is a TikTok video that's gone viral, which shows you a new way to cook bacon.

When I saw it, I literally thought: Aha! Finally, there's a way to make bacon even crispier (if you can even imagine that).

We all know that there are various ways to cook bacon.

You can just fry it in a frying pan. Or you can put it on parchment paper and cook it in the oven. I've done both versions quite successfully.

This new version uses the oven-baked method.

However, there is a twist to it. And when I say twist, I really mean it. See, that's the whole idea. You take a strip of bacon and twirl it or twist it.

Oh my! Where was this all my life?

You can twist the bacon as tight or as loose as you like. Keep in mind that a tight twist will produce crispier bacon, and a looser one will be juicier and chewier.

Once you twist all the bacon, line it over a parchment-covered baking sheet.

At this point, you can season the bacon if you like. The lady who came up with this trick used "Everything But The Bagel" seasoning. Wow, that sounds yum!

Then, you stick it in the oven.

Cook it at about 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 40 minutes. If you want chewier bacon, cook it a little less. I love crispy bacon, so I would definitely stick to the full-time frame.

It's always a good idea to flip the bacon halfway through the baking process.

That way, you get an even cook on it. Take it out and enjoy it as a side to your fried eggs or any other way you like it.

You can even dip the bacon in your favorite dipping sauce.

Wow, that sounds absolutely amazing to me. Doesn't it look so delicious? I can't get over this cool idea here. In fact, my mouth is watering as I write this, ha, ha!

As I said before, where was this all my life?

Why is it that I've been eating bacon forever, and only now I learn of this trick? Do you get what I'm saying? Have you tried this yourself? I want to know how much you love it.
