20 Weird Pics That Actually Make A Little Sense

The world is weird. Always has been. From the strange workings of our own lives as individual humans to the still vastly unknown functions of nature, there's a lot of wild stuff that goes on!

In this list are some features of life that come across really strange, but actually do make some sense!

"This tree that grew sideways up a hill."

Even the one in the background is pretty crooked; how windy does it get where you are?

"While the veins on my left hand say 'yo‘, the veins on my right hand spell 'HI‘."

It's good that they're chatting so politely like this. Communication is key in all things, even bodily coordination!

"Fan after 2 years work in glass painting workshop."

I can't tell if this looks more like the surface of an alien planet or a strange species of moss, but I can tell it looks nothing like paint.

"My 1000 piece puzzle has a cheat code!"

This is just nice. There's nothing wrong with needing help or guidance if you get stuck, and the implementation is really cool too!

"The sand underneath the tree blew away."

Maybe the tree just really hates the feeling of sand between its roots so it started growing up and over.

"A guy I saw fishing in his boat on a very foggy day..."

Fog is a powerful mood-setter. It makes this fisherman look like the ferryman that's going to usher your soul across the River Styx.

"I use these glass pitchers to store breast milk in the fridge, and I always write the date on the pitcher with an Expo marker. The condensation caused one of the numbers to migrate down the side of the pitcher."

You could look at me and say, "When you write on something with marker, it rests on top of the surface," and I would nod understandingly. Then I'd turn around and look at this and not be able to understand how it happened.

"This peach blossom tree has flowers in 3 different colors."

These colors look like they could be a flag for a country where only pretty people live.

"Smoke bubbles across the lawn on a rainy day."

The way the uploader captioned this makes it sound like a natural occurrence, but no, they did clarify that they made these by blowing vape smoke through a bubble wand. It still looks super cool, though!

"This bridge in the middle of a field that serves no purpose."

It has no purpose now, but that area probably has a heavy rain season that fills up the canal in that field. You'll be grateful for the bridge then.

"This squirrel using his tail as an umbrella in the rain."

If you had a tail that was long and bushy enough to cover your head, you'd probably do the same!

"Dysautonomia causes my blood to pool in my feet, turning them purple."

So is it a biology thing or a color theory thing that causes too much red blood to come across as purple through the skin?

"This round ping pong table in my city."

Does this setup mean you can have a four-way ping pong game? I'd pay to watch some pros play that, sounds chaotic.

"This restaurant is covered entirely in pennies."

Did they come up with the wall or the name first? How long into the construction of the wall did they get before they seriously regretted it?

"This gym made a cutout in the ceiling to give room for people doing pull-ups."

I appreciate the gym's faith in my ability to pull myself into the ceiling, but I promise that will never happen.

"Had a knife accident as a kid, now my pupil looks a bit like a droplet."

It looks cool and makes for a super unique feature, but hearing the cause was a 'knife accident' sent major shivers down my spine. Glad you're alright!

"A tattoo under a macro lens."

I thought this was a dog's nose at first, but I should have remembered my dog's nose isn't hairy.

"What a ripe cashew fruit looks like."

Cashew...fruit? Cashews have fruits? And apparently the fruit is edible but the shell around the nut is poisonous and can cause chemical burns on skins? How did this twisted plant come to exist?

"My foot is as big as the device used to measure feet."

Of course, these things have a limit and there are some people with large feet out there, I just never thought I'd see them together.

"The severed and re-attached portion does not prune when doing dishes."

I absolutely hate getting prune-y when washing dishes. I think I know what needs to be done.
