Luke Evans Says He 'Would Jump At The Chance' To Play The Next James Bond

Luke Evans is one of the most gorgeous men on the planet. His style, his charisma, and his charm mean he is the ideal candidate to portray James Bond. Of course, he's also Welsh, so that accent will serve us all very well in a suit and tie.

Now, the 42-year-old is opening up about how eager he would be to play the infamous 007.

Of course, it's no secret everyone and their brother wants to play 007 once Daniel Craig steps down from the iconic role.

When it comes to the front runners, we've got Charlie Hunnam. We've got Henry Cavill. We've got fan-favorite Idris Elba.

Now, Luke Evans is tossing his hat into the ring.

If you've watched any decent movie from the past 10 years, then you definitely recognize Luke Evans.

Best known for his roles in Fast & Furious 6, The Hobbit, Beauty and The Beast, The Alienist and _ The Pembrokeshire Murders_ there's no denying Luke is very talented.

Oh yeah, he's also *totally* gorgeous!

Now, the 42-year-old is opening up about the prospect of taking on the dream job of James Bond in a new interview with The Mirror.

"I think I've cut my teeth very well in movies I've done and I've enjoyed every second of it. It's a phenomenal job, a phenomenal franchise, an incredible role."

"I have to say though, it's a daunting task for any actor to play the role after Daniel Craig," he explained, as per Sky News.

"No one knows what's happening. It's a very secretive process and it's a wonderful role. I would jump at the chance, as would many actors in my position, so we shall see."

He concluded: "It will be an exciting casting moment for the Bond production and I wish whoever gets it the best of luck."
