Kelly Osbourne Reveals She Relapsed After Nearly 4 Years Of Sobriety In Emotional Video

Sobriety is always a fight, and setbacks shouldn't be a source of shame for those who are going through it. When celebrities are open about their experiences, it helps normalize the idea that the road to recovery doesn't always go entirely smoothly without any bumps.

Kelly Osbourne is revealing that her own journey of sobriety hit a rocky patch.

Kelly Osbourne has been open with her sobriety since 2018.

At the start of 2020, Kelly said "With almost 2½ years of sobriety under my belt I still struggle with confrontation (which was NEVER a problem when I was using) Well this all STOPS today. It's time to put myself first, stop taking on other people's [expletive] and be the badass sober women [sic] I was born to be."

Kelly's latest update on her sobriety journey was an emotional video on her Instagram story.

“This is a little hard for me to talk about, but I’ve always promised you that I will always be honest with you about where I’m at and what’s going on in my road to recovery,” Kelly said in a video she shared.

“I relapsed. Not proud of it. But I am back on track," Kelly revealed.

Kelly stated that she is "sober today" and will be "sober tomorrow," but stressed the most important lesson she learned.

“But I’ve learned it truly is just one day at a time,” Kelly explained.

Kelly explained she wanted to be transparent with her fans.

"I just want to tell you guys the truth because I never, ever want to lie to you. Thank you so much for your support and your love.”

We think it's amazing that Kelly has the strength to be so open about her journey!
