Mom On TikTok Says She Didn't Realize She Had Two Vaginas Until She Was Giving Birth

The human body is an incredible place where things can differentiate for many different people. Sometimes, when we feel like things are off with our bodies, we consult doctors and professionals. But, sometimes they don't always listen.

Doctors don't always see things and sometimes, this can lead to a lot of confusion about our bodies and overall health.

Recently, a mom on TikTok named Brit Jacobs shared online that she made a crazy discovery when giving birth.

The mom shared on TikTok that when she was giving birth in the hospital, a nurse told her that she actually has two vaginas.

But, not just two vaginas. Jacobs' reproductive system has two of... everything.

The mom has two cervixes and two uteruses, too. Apparently, no one had "caught" this during all of her years of pap smears and check-ups. The condition is known as Uterus Didelphys and occurs during a fetus' development in the womb.

However, Jacobs says throughout her life the signs were there.

"For 25 years no one noticed or knew what it was,” she shared. But, Jacobs said she had issues throughout her life.

The mom said she got "two periods every month."

Additionally, she shared that she only carried her baby on one side. And, sex had been very painful for her, too.

After sharing her story on TikTok, people were shocked.

Almost 3-million people have viewed Jacobs' TikTok video in which she shares the crazy discovery.

Many were confused how doctors missed this.

With all of the technology today, many didn't get how doctors could miss something so big, for all of her life.

Another said that it was a shame no one "cared."

One person apologized to Jacobs for having to struggle with this and having so many medical professionals ignore her.

But, others were completely interested and had questions.

Many wanted to know if "both work" and the mechanics of having two vaginas. Dozens of others flooded the comment box with questions, too.

Wow, you learn something new every day it seems.
