10+ Celebrities Who Hold Guinness World Records

Do you know the difference between heroes and legends? As they say in The Sand Lot, "heroes get remembered, but legends never die." Truer words have never been spoken.

To illustrate my point, I've compiled a list of legends whose names shall echo in eternity. Have a look and check out these 10+ celebrities who hold Gunness World Records.

Snoop Dogg

The Father of Rap made his way into the Guinness Book of World Records in the most Snoop Dogg-way imaginable: by mixing the world's largest cocktail.

In case you were wondering, the answer is "yes" — it was gin and juice.

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift has broken several world records in her tenure as the reigning and undisputed Queen of pop music.

Most recently, she broke the record for most day-one streams of an album on Spotify, for a female artist.

Jennifer Lawrence

If anyone on this planet isn't already well aware, Jennifer Lawrence is a certified badass.

In 2014, she was named the world's highest-grossing acting heroine, pulling in more than $1.52 billion dollars thanks largely to the wildly successful franchise — The Hunger Games.

Eminem

Eminem revolutionized hip-hop throughout the '90s and early '00s and remains to this day one of the most influential and respected artists in the game.

Marshall still holds the record for fastest rap in a number one single, spitting 97 words in only 15 seconds.

Ellen DeGeneres

A little more than seven years ago, almost to the day, Ellen made history as the most followed TV personality on Twitter.

Back then, she had a little less than 26 million followers. Today, that number is over 70 million.

Jackie Chan

Anyone who grew up in the '90s shouldn't be surprised to learn that Jackie Chan holds the undisputed world record for most stunts performed by an actor.

In his career that spans more than 50 years, Jackie has appeared in over a hundred films.

Alex Rodriguez

A-Rod holds the world record for most career Grand Slams (25), is the youngest person to ever hit 500 career Home Runs, and has the most Home Runs for a 3rd Baseman in a single season (54).

That said, he'll always have an asterisk beside his name.

Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo is the G.O.A.T. — it's as simple as that. The Portuguese goal-scoring phenom is the most 'Liked' athlete on Facebook, the most followed person on Instagram, and the oldest player to ever score a Hat Trick in a World Cup match.

Dolly Parton

Dolly Parton has one of the longest and most enduring careers in the history of entertainment.

She holds the world record for most decades with a top 20 hit on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Dolly also has had more hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart than any other female artist.

Betty White

Beloved star and TV actress Betty White celebrated her 99th birthday this past January. She holds the world record for the longest TV career, with more than 82 years of her life spent in front of the camera.

RuPaul

I know this probably sounds redundant but I am utterly obsessed with RuPaul's Drag Race.

The always fabulous host said "sashay away" to the competition, and holds the world record for the most Emmy wins for a reality TV show host.

Katy Perry

Katy Perry has more world records than you can shake a stick at.

Most notably, Katy was the first person ever to reach 100 million followers on Twitter. She was also the first female artist to have five No. 1 singles from a single album (US).

Justin Bieber

2017 was a huge year for The Biebs. His album Purpose helped the then-22-year-old star acheive an impressive eight world record titles.

Purpose went on to crack the record for the most-streamed album on Spotify in a single week, and Justin's single "What Do You Mean?" was the most-streamed track.

Meryl Streep

Make no mistake, Meryl Streep is the greatest actor (male or female) to ever step in front of a camera.

In her long and storied career, Meryl has been nominated for twenty-one Academy Awards; seventeen of which were for "Best Actress."

Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande is a force to be reckoned with. She's not even 30-years-old and already Ariana has managed to amass an astounding 20 Guinness World Records to her name.
