Dear Paparazzi, Celebrities' Kids Are Off Limits

While it's easy to just imagine celebrities having the easiest lives ever, it's just simply not the case. Yes, they're rich. Yes, opportunities just fall into their laps. But, it's not all sunshine and daisies — okay? This especially applies if you're a celebrity parent. Being able to protect your children from the intense paparazzi cameras is almost impossible, and it's really time it stops.

One of the most horrific part of global fame would have to be the paparazzi.

And now, I'm not talking about the photogs at red carpet events. I'm talking about the people that hunt down celebrities and their children in order to snap pics.

While this type of behaviour is illegal in California, the law needs to be implemented everywhere.

Every state has their own legislation when dealing with children and paparazzi, with California being the most strict.

While it's still upsetting to see celebrities of any age getting snapped unexpectedly, it's difficult to imagine the effect this type of attention would have on a young child.

One of the more outspoken children is Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's daughter, North West.

YouTube is filled with clips of her yelling at the paparazzi, asking them to stop taking photos of her, starting from when she was just 2-years-old.

Jennifer Garner's daughter has also vocalized her disdain for the cameras.

In a new interview with *The Hollywood Reporter* Jennifer admitted she doesn't have family photos because her children were traumatized by paparazzi cameras when they were younger.

Jennifer continued: "I'd go do a school run and it'd be 15 cars going with me. I never had a day without them, and if I did, if I made it to a park by hiding in the bottom of the pool man's truck or something, then a nanny would see me there and call a number and they'd swarm."

There are many parents that have chosen to keep their children off social media, which makes it all the more upsetting when photos of them get leaked to the media.

Couples like Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell have made the choice to cover their children's faces on social media, but that doesn't matter when it comes to the photogs.

I think it's time this unwanted attention and picture hounding stops. Let's just let kids be kids!
