Kelly Clarkson Surprises Louisiana Residents With Rebuilt Homes After Hurricane

If there's one celebrity I love more than all the rest and would be willing to physically fight to defend, it would be Miss Kelly Clarkson.

I have been a Kelly fan since her time on American Idol allllll those days ago. Her passion for people and music is what makes her the ultimate queen in my eyes.

Kelly Clarkson has been going through so much drama in her personal life.

Her divorce and ongoing legal battle with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock have been very painful and public.

However, Kelly is focusing on the positives in life by helping those in need in partnership with Wayfair.

In a new video uploaded by the home decor site, fans are able to see the home transformation of the Gomez family.

The homes of Lake Charles, Louisiana were devastated by the back-to-back hurricanes Laura and Delta last year.

According to a Wayfair press statement to People, the houses belonging to the Gomez family and local resident Martha "were left with leaking roofs, shattered windows, broken doors, and damaged siding."

Kelly and Wayfair paid the costs of repair and renovation, along with items from the Kelly Clarkson Home collection.

AHH, how awesome is that?!

"2020 was a year we’ll never forget," Kelly said.

"The Lake Charles community faced an extremely difficult situation when the place they call home was hit by deadly storms that caused a tremendous amount of loss. It can take years to rebuild a community, but if we work together to help those in need, we can accomplish a lot."
