Fans Are Upset That Naya Rivera Was 'Snubbed' By Grammys In Memoriam Tribute

On the 14th, millions of people around the world tuned into the Grammys to see the very best and brightest of the music world get honored, as well as to see the fantastic performances put on by some of the nominees.

People also tuned in to see the show pay tribute to those we lost in the past year, and some people felt that someone was missing.

*Glee* actress and singer Naya Rivera tragically passed away at the age of 33 last July.

Naya was survived by her 4-year-old son Josey.

Naya, who had been nominated for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals at the Grammys in 2010, was not included in the In Memoriam segment at the show.

Many fans took to social media to share their thoughts about this.

"I can’t stand the #Grammys! The way they snubbed Naya Rivera and didn’t put her “in memoriam” tribute," one fan tweeted.

"since the recording academy failed to include GRAMMY-nominated Naya Rivera in the tribute, please take some time to think about her today," one fan shared.

Many fans were upset.

"Wait HOLD THE [expletive] UP. The Grammys didn't include Naya Rivera in their In Memoriam? I am so incensed right now," one fan wrote.

"Naya rivera deserved a slot in the grammys memorial presentation I'm upset," another tweeted.

What do you think?

Was it disrespectful of the award show to leave Naya out of the tribute, or do you think that it's just not possible to include everyone that has been lost? Let us know how you feel in the comments!
