Man In Viral Video Called 'DIY King' For Painting A Wall In 30 Seconds

Renovating a house is definitely a job I wouldn't want to have. In fact, I've never even painted a single wall, ha, ha! It's not that I'm lazy or anything like that. I just like to hire professionals, that's all.

If I could hire this guy to paint my house, I would save some serious coin because apparently, he can do a wall in about 30 seconds.

Yes, you read that right.

This guy is some kind of a sorcerer with a paintbrush. He did an entire wall in just about 30 seconds, which prompted the person who posted this video on TikTok to marvel at how that was even possible.

So how did he do it?

Well, as it turns out, he has a unique method. In the video, you see him walking alongside a yellow wall. At the same time, he makes zig-zag strokes with a roller soaked in white paint.

He covers quite a bit of the wall with his white zig-zag pattern.

Then he proceeds to roll the rest of the wall in an up and down motion. Walking towards the end of the wall, he can finish the job in about 30 seconds.

I kid you not, that's really how he did it.

However, I think there are a few things I need to point out. This paint job did not include "cutting in" (AKA painting a line between two different colors for a transition). That process takes significantly more time, so his paint job is not technically fully finished.

Having said that, I think it's still pretty impressive.

Don't you think? When people saw this video online, they had plenty to say about it. I'm not surprised at all. After all, I wish I had mad painting skills like this man.

One lady even chimed in to explain this painting method.

She said that her husband uses it too. It involves using a soaked roller with a lot of strength. This way, the paint doesn't stick to the roller when you paint. Aha!

My fiancé, who is a professional painter, explained this process to me as well.

Another thing this man has an advantage in is that he is very tall. He can cover the entire wall in just one stroke. A shorter guy wouldn't be able to do that easily, huh?

Then, there's the roller that he is using.

It's one big roller. Am I right? A lot of folks wanted to know exactly what type of roller he was using, and where they can get their hands on it ASAP.

So what do you think of this man's painting technique?

Are you as impressed by it like the folks on TikTok? Would you attempt to do it like this yourself? Or would you rather just stick to hiring professional painters?
