Are you a fan of DIY videos? I am, too. So, let me ask you a question: Are you on TikTok yet? Well, if you answered "no," then I'm telling you that you should definitely check it out.

There are so many style hacks and how-to videos that will give you tons of awesome ideas. This recent one I found is a winner for sure.

What is the one article of clothing you pretty much wear every day now that you're staying at home?

I hope you said sweatpants, ha, ha! I hear you, and I'm the same. And I bet you have at least a few pairs of them, right?

What if I told you that you could transform one of them into something super cute?

Oh, yes, keep reading, my friend. A lady who goes by the user name @kerifay posted a video of her fashion hack. Are you ready to find out what it is?

She actually made over her old pair of sweatpants into the comfiest sweat shorts.

Aha! I told you it was an awesome fashion hack. I bet you didn't even think of that? I have to admit, I haven't either!

Let me tell you how you can do it too.

First, grab an old pair of sweatpants or a new one and cut one leg off at the thigh. Then fold the pants over so you can cut off the other leg.

Doing it this way will ensure that both sides will end up looking even.

This smart lady transformed a $7 pair of sweatpants into the cutest little shorts. She did this because she didn't have any, but she had lots of sweatpants lying around.

Wow, isn't this such a great idea?

Take a look at how great these shorts look on her here. And she swears that they're super comfy, too. So let me ask you: Why spend extra money when you could just DIY it?

As it turns out, I'm not the only person who thinks this is a brilliant idea.

After she posted her tutorial to TikTok, a lot of people have been praising her fashion hack. Most of them think it's so cute.

Actually, there are more videos on the platform that show a similar idea.

Some folks have taken extra steps and folded the fabric over to make the shorts look a little fancier.

Oh, I really like that style, too. This is fabulous.

Here's another cute example of the same idea.

Oh my goodness, I wish I had more sweat pants, ha, ha. I feel like I want to run out to the store and buy a few cheap ones in a variety of colors just to do this DIY.

This lady had a great tip for anyone who wants to make these shorts themselves.

She used Liquid Stitch that she got at Walmart for about $5. You put a think layer of it, let it dry, and iron it for about 60 seconds and voilĂ .

Isn't it such a great idea?

I wasn't sure what kind of glue would work the best for this, and now I know. It definitely beats sewing them in place. I don't know about you, but I suck at sewing, ha, ha.

Here's another step-by-step tutorial that shows you an easy way to do these sweat shorts.

If you're not confident about cutting the right length off, just use a marker to create a straight line. Doesn't this look so much easier now?

Aren't you happy there are tutorials like these online?

I mean, what would we do without them. Am I right, ha, ha? I don't know about you, but I'm learning something new every day thanks to videos like this on TikTok.

Okay, I must admit I should have thought of that.

I mean, why run to the store to buy these sweat shorts when you can just make some?

What do you think of this idea?
