Chip & Joanna Gaines Document Damage At Their Restaurant Following Texas Storm

The ongoing devastation in Texas is unprecedented as the aftermath of Winter Storm Uri continues to cause issues for millions across the state.

HGTV stars Chip and Joanna Gaines recently took to Instagram to share the damage their beloved restaurant, Magnolia Table, underwent during the storm.

There is no shortage of people, and places, in need of help in Texas following the devastation of Winter Storm Uri.

In addition to homes, many businesses have been affected by the damage.

Social media has been filled with videos and messages from residents in the Lone Star State.

Many stars have been stepping up to help those displaced and in desperate need of assistance, including Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and Matthew McConaughey.

HGTV stars Chip and Joanna Gaines are letting fans know how the past few days have been at their trademark restaurant, Magnolia Table, in Waco, Texas.

Posting an emotional video of the damage to Instagram, Chip shared a heartfelt message.

Posting a video showing fans around the pair's iconic restaurant, he wrote:

"Whether you heard about it on the news or have been living in the middle of it, you know Texas has been hit hard by Winter Storm Uri."

"Families and individuals from all over are dealing with the fallout of a storm like we’ve never seen."

The video shows severe damage to the roof, floors, and furniture.

"Here in Waco, we opened the doors to a busted pipe that flooded our restaurant.." he explained.

"But we know this same story is playing out across the state, with so many people facing far worse."

He continued: "But there is something we can do now..."

"We can work to change what tomorrow holds for a lot of these people. Let’s do some good today—find out how you can help at the link in profile."

The link took fans to donation pages for three prominent organizations — Habitat Texas: Disaster Relief Services, Feeding Texas, and Mission Waco.

The couple announced that Magnolia would be donating $100,000 across the three non-profits.

The pair went on to say that several members of their team at Magnolia have "scrambled to find water and heat for their families, some have even lost their homes."

A rep for Magnolia told People that the restaurant was reopened on Monday after the team made some repairs to make the space functional again.

However, the area that underwent the most damage is currently blocked off and undergoing renovation.

At least a part of of their restaurant is back up and running!

Fans were sending messages of love to the couple, thanking them for using their platform to raise money for others.
