Fans Notice Jennifer Aniston's Speaking Habit On 'Friends' Decades Later

There's nothing like rewatching Friends for the 75th time and noticing things you swear you've never picked up on before! As a creature of habit, I pride myself on my ability to watch the same TV show over, and over, and over again without feeling the need to watch anything made in the past 10 years.

So when I found out that there was a cute little habit Jennifer Aniston did literally every time she spoke on Friends and I, for one, couldn't believe I didn't notice it sooner!

*Friends* is without a doubt one of the most memorable shows of the ‘90s.

Was it Rachel’s fashion? Monica’s quintessential ‘90s apartment? Joey’s lack of ridiculous dating apps? Whatever it was, it was MAGIC, baby!

It's hard to believe the show is almost 30 years old, which makes me feel very, very old!

However, just because something is OLD doesn't mean it's not full of surprises — just ask my husband!

He still manages to surprise me every day by leaving his dishes in a different place, that isn't the sink, every single day! And they say marriage gets boring after 20 years!

Now, before I point this *Friends* fact out to you, please know you won't be able to UNHEAR it.

TikTok user @cts.trphe revealed that Jennifer has a "vocal tic" that involves clearing her throat almost every time she speaks on the show.

"Jennifer Aniston has this vocal tic that she does at the beginning of every single sentence that she starts on any show that she’s in. It’s very specific and it’s very hard to unsee once you notice it," they explained.

And while it's not super clear just why Jennifer did it on the show, it is apparent she did it a lot. Someone even took the time to compile a list of times she did it:

200 TIMES AND I didn't even notice it once? Maybe I can't be a detective the way Law & Order made me believe I could.

Some people claimed to have notice it before, while others (like myself) are totally blindsided.

I can't wait to rewatch the series and master my Rachel Green impression!
