'Bridgerton' Star Phoebe Dynevor Responds To Fans Who Spotted Her 'Neck Acting'

There is so much to say about the hit Netflix series Bridgerton. It's saucy. It's sexy. It's soapy. And it's... neck-y?

Well, that's what some fans are saying after rewatching the series 57 times it's me I'm the fan and now, Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor, aka Daphne Bridgerton, is speaking out about her "tense neck acting."

I don't want to say *Bridgerton* is the best show of all time but... IT TOTALLY IS!

And while we're only one season deep, I have no doubt the show will reign supreme in the hearts and minds of all the viewers who made it the MOST popular Netflix series of all time!

While there's many things to notice in the series, a lot of people couldn't stop focusing on Phoebe's neck as she portrayed the young debutante.

No, not in like a creepy vampire way, but in a "Is her neck okay?" kind of way.

During an interview with French digital magazine L'Officiel, Phoebe laughed about her "neck acting."

"I didn't even know I was doing it, but I think with the corset – and my need to express Daphne's anxiety – there was a lot of sort of tense neck action," she explained.

"It was about displaying two different emotions and not making her feel like this sort of Disney princess, that everything's great," she added."Because she's scared and vulnerable underneath all of that wide-eyed naiveté."

Well there you have it, folks!
