If you’re like me, you’re getting pretty sick and tired of the rebooted TV shows. I loved Saved by the Bell back in the day, but that doesn’t mean I want to watch a 2021 reimagining of it. And sure, I loved Beverly Hills, 90210 back in the ’90s, but that doesn’t mean I want to watch its reboot, BH90210 .
You know what I’d love? The ability to watch all the old shows I used to love, with no revamp. Just the classic, feel-good TV I grew up with.
You know who has stood the test of time better than my 1997 walkman? BETTY WHITE!
There are few people that are as universally loved and appreciated as Betty White. The 99-year-old actress has been a national treasure for as long as I can remember. Her work ethic and sense of humor have truly made her a timeless, Hollywood force.
Now, Betty fans young and old will be able to enjoy one of her most prominent and exciting TV shows on Amazon Prime!
That’s right — it seems someone has heard by plea for bringing back classic TV shows.
No, not a reimagining. No, not a reboot. No, not a revival.
Just the good, old-fashioned TV show that was good back and then is still good now!

And while I normally would scoff at these ridiculous services, I already have Amazon Prime so this is so convenient! The show will also be available to stream on Apple TV, but who even has that?
Announcing the news on her Instagram Tuesday, Betty wrote: “I am so pleased to announce the re-release of Betty White’s Pet Set today. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it 50 years ago,” she concluded, before tagging Amazon Prime Video.
For the uninitiated, *The Pet Set* was a show Betty hosted in the ’70s.
Produced by her late husband Allan Ludden (who was also the announcer), the show centered around Betty and her various celebrity guests who brought their pets with them discussing pet care, ecology, and wildlife preservation.
It was a total blast, and I’m so excited to rewatch all the episodes I loved so much as a kid!
” The Pet Set is one of my favorite shows,” Betty told ET last month.
“I’m thrilled it’s going to be seen again after all these years,” she added.
