The Little Mermaid has been making headlines ever since it has announced its princess: Halle Bailey.
Now, after what feels like years, the casting department has finally found its Prince Eric.
Jonah Hauer-King, a rising British star, will be playing the handsome Prince Eric.
Walt Disney Studios, at this moment, has made no comment about the casting.
Still, we can take solace in knowing that we finally have a face for the iconic Prince Eric.
He is a rising star, especially for the film industry, but he definitely has shown off his acting chops on television.
He is currently starring on BBC's World on Fire and starred in the 2017 series Little Women.
We don't know if he even can sing, but we do know that the film will feature new songs written by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Alan Menken.
So we have complete faith that he will blow us away as Prince Eric.
