Warning!

HBO

Listen, we all know Jackson was acquitted, so no one can say whether he's truly guilty or not.

However, I want to warn everyone that this article that there may be some graphic stuff, whether you're a Micheal fan or not.

'Leaving Neverland'.

HBO

This chilling documentary tells the horrific tale of two men who, while they were younger, accused singer Michael Jackson of sexual abuse.

It's a heartbreaking and disturbing tale of some of the evilest things a person can do to someone.

The documentary, which is four hours, changes the way we perceived the pop star.

HBO

Ten years after his death in 2009, people are starting to possibly see the true side of the man we once revered.

The two men...

HBO

Namely Australian dancer/choreographer Wade Robson and Simi Valley, California native James Safechuck were allegedly abused by Jackson at 7 and 10.

Their stories are shockingly similar, which points to what the truth might be considering they never talked.

It all started when an executive approached Dan Reed, the director, who was initially uninterested in the Jackson story.

HBO

But, the more he found out, the more invested he became in this story.

Dan Reed discovered that not only were the two men credible, but their stories were something no one could've just made up.

HBO

It was chilling for him to say the least, as it was for all of us.

As for the mothers Reed tells us not to be too harsh on them.

HBO

Even though they let their children undergo such horrible things.

However, he wants us to think a little differently, a little more critically.

He said...

HBO

In an interview:

"You have put yourself back in their shoes, in a different time. They were innocent, the lure of wanting Jackson to like them and take advantage of the opportunity for the little boys to learn stuff as children.

There are moments...

HBO

Where we get to look into the enormous estate of Neverland, and all the places where the molestation took place.

Safechuck recalls being molested in "a closet within a closet".

Once again...

HBO

In the interview, he reiterates how the men first met at Sudance:

“There was no chance for cross-contamination,” said Reed. “They do echo each other. Jackson had an MO of things he liked to do.”

Safechuck recalls that in order to keep his mouth shut, Jackson gave him gold jewelry.

HBO

He told the young boy to "Shelve his feelings" and not to tell anyone about what happened.

That came up when Reed was interviewing Safechuck for the movie.

HBO

While it may have seemed difficult, Reed needed to see the jewelry that he received from Jackson.

Maybe it was for the movie, maybe it was for credibility...

But nevertheless...

HBO

It was a painful moment for Safechuck.

"It was incredible, just like opening up some kind of physical memory, literally his hands started to shake and he became short of breath, overwhelmed by feelings that washed over him from the past, the intensity of emotion when he took out the ring when he got married.”

As for Micheal Jackson fans, they may have a hard time believing this.

HBO

Especially after the man was acquitted from all the crimes.

However, there is something that the men want to say...

To fans...

HBO

Robson says:

“I don’t think there’s anything I need to say to Michael Jackson’s fans except I understand it’s hard for them to believe because, in a way, not that long ago I was in the same position they were in,”
