You may know and love these shows, but have you had a good long think about them?

What if there was a glaring bit of subtext that went over your head? The next time you watch these, you should see if these theories actually hold up.

1. "SpongeBob SquarePants"

Could this explain all the talking sea life? And why Sandy has chosen to live under the water?

2. "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia"

The characters might be uglier than we think. Why?

In 'High School Reunion Part 2' Dee, Mac and Dennis perform a beautifully choreographed dance.

But turns out they just think that, and they're actually terrible.

3. "Samurai Jack"

The theory is that Samurai Jack, who wanders a post-apocalyptic world, is actually the professor from The Powerpuff Girls.

Samurai Jack would be a prequel.

4. "Breaking Bad"

Is Walter White actually Malcolm from Malcolm in the Middle? The theorists believe so!

They're both very bright at chemistry, have big egos and a striking similarity to Bryan Cranston. Need I say more?

5. "Pokémon"

The shows been running for 22 seasons and Ash is still 10 years old. The theory is that he is immortal.

Maybe the first episode can explain this.

He sees a bird Pokémon later revealed to he Ho-oh, a legendary Pokémon who can grant wishes.

Maybe Ash's greatest wish was to forever be catching and training Pokémon.

Sherlock is actually related to to...Mr. Spock! And it's actually confirmed!

In Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, Spock says, "An ancestor of mine maintained that if you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the solution."

Fan theories suggest that Breaking Bad is the prequel to the zombie show.
