'Orange Is The New Black' Star Taryn Manning 'Terrorized' By Alleged Cyber Criminal Attack

The newest and final season of Orange Is The New Black just came out on Netflix, and almost the entire cast came together for one final premiere party. One actress, Taryn Manning, was nowhere to be seen, and explained her absence in a concerning Instagram post where she detailed being terrorized by cyber criminals.

Manning plays Tiffany 'Pennsatucky' Doggett on the show.

Despite Pennsatucky being a main staple of the cast since the first season, Manning was not in attendance at the premiere for the final season. Manning took to Instagram to explain her absence.

"I wish I could be there," she wrote on a photo of the cast.

"Unfortunate uncontrollable circumstances that no one could help with have made it this way. When someone is crying for help from someone who is after your life and soul. Please listen."

"No one deserves to have another person single handedly ruin their life to the point they are paralyzed and never leave in fear."

"I tried to tell everyone. No one cared," Manning wrote. "This is for anyone who feels alone, terrorized by cyber criminals, cyber bullying, criminals with the intent to cause others distress and isolate them from life, for people who have lost everything due to another humans mental illness and smear campaigns."

"It even happens to people who seemingly have the resources to stop it too."

Manning then called out her team, writing, "This is for my 'team' of agents, managers and lawyers who didn’t do anything to help me. I forgive you though."

Manning clarified her post in an interview.

Manning says she has also lost "hundreds of thousands" of dollars in income due to losing work as an actress and DJ as a result of these criminals contacting her friends, family, and representatives of her career.

Manning told The Blast she was "crushed" about missing the premiere.
