Chris Hemsworth Says He Knows How It Feels To Be 'Pregnant' After Wearing Thor's Fat Suit

If you've ever been pregnant, chances are that at some point during those nine months, you resented your partner for not experiencing pregnancy themselves. Men don't have to deal with the weight gain, the aches and pains, or the heartburn and frankly, that doesn't seem fair.

Actor Chris Hemsworth recently revealed that his transformation into "Fat Thor" gave him new insight into what women go through during pregnancy. I think all dads-to-be should try this from now on.

As you probably know, Chris Hemsworth is the actor behind one of the OG Avengers, Thor.

Thor is literally a god, and he definitely has the physique to match.

However, if you saw "Endgame", then you know that Thor goes through quite the transformation.

This period of the character's life has been dubbed "Fat Thor" by the internet and instantly became a meme.

All jokes aside, Chris recently opened up about what it actually took to turn into this new version of Thor.

Chris explained to The Daily Telegraph that he had to wear a heavy prosthetic suit made out of silicon to bring the character to life.

"I had weights in my wrist and my ankles to make me move differently, but I enjoyed the transformation and freedom to do whatever I wanted with the character," he said.

Portraying Thor this way also gave Chris a new and unexpected insight into his wife, Elsa Pataky's, experiences as a mom.

It made him realize that portraying "Thicc" Thor was sort of like being pregnant.

Chris revealed that the cast and crew would come up and rub his fake belly on the set.

"I know how my wife feels now when she was pregnant!" he said.

Off-screen, the couple shares three children together.

They are the parents to a seven-year-old daughter named India Rose and twin five-year-old boys, Tristan and Sasha.

We already knew that Chris was a super hands-on dad, but maybe this revelation will change his parenting style?

Now he fully understands what Elsa went through to bring those kids into the world.

Maybe every dad-to-be should be required to wear the Thor fat suit to better sympathize with their pregnant partners.

This is actually a genius idea. Anyone else on board? It definitely changed Chris' perspective.
