Miami Dolphins Kendrick Norton Loses Arm In Devastating Car Crash

Miami Dolphins defensive tackle Kendrick Norton has suffered multiple injuries after being involved in a car crash early Thursday morning on State Road 836, near Miami.

The injuries, though non-life threatening, that have resulted in Norton's left arm being amputated.

Florida Highway Patrol Lt. Alex Camacho reports the truck Norton was driving (Ford F250 ) crashed into a concrete barrier and overturned early Thursday.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews rushed to assist Norton, who was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.

Sports agent Malki Kawa confirmed the news in a tweet this morning.

"We ask that you continue to pray for him," wrote Kawa.

The Miami Dolphins have also tweeted their support for Norton and his family.

He recently turned 22-years-old and has been signed with the Dolphins since December 2018.

Born in Jacksonville, Norton attended the University of Miami.

The devastating news has sent shock waves across the NFL.

Cleveland Browns player David Njoku tweeted out his prayers out for the fellow athlete.

"God watch over him in Jesus name, Amen."

"Everybody please say a prayer for one of my best friends Kendrick Norton for me, please," tweeted former Hurricanes wide receiver Lawrence Cager.

He and Norton were a part of the same Miami recruiting class.
