Tom Holland Is Open To Playing A Gay Spider-Man: "The World Isn’t As Simple As A Straight White Guy"

Spider-Man: Far From Home has officially hit theatres, and so Tom Holland has been doing a lot of interviews.

Recently he spoke out about Marvel and its LGBT issues.

A lot of people want to see a gay or bisexual Spider-Man.

Andrew Garfield had even suggested it when he was playing the character!

And now Tom Holland has spoken about it.

Recently, Holland was asked in an interview if he'd be okay with playing Spider-Man as gay.

“Yeah, of course,” he replied. “ I do know a lot about the future of Marvel, and they are going to be representing lots of different people in the next few years.”

He continued by adding:

“The world isn’t as simple as a straight white guy. It doesn’t end there, and these films need to represent more than one type of person.”

It's the next big step Marvel has to take.
