Yup, it's happening. There might not be a Sex and the City three in movie format, but we're getting a new show!

Author Candice Bushnell has a new novel titled Is There Still Sex in the City?
It's been picked up by Paramount Television and Anonymous Content.
The differences:

It will follow the same format as the previous one except it will feature women in their 50 and 60s.
Will the original characters be returning?

We, unfortunately, don't know yet.
But wouldn't that be something amazing to see!
