Katy Perry and Miranda Kerr are proving that women can support other women and function together as a family — and fans are losing it, in the best way.
A quick history lesson:
Miranda Kerr was once married to Orlando Bloom, way back in 2010. They welcomed their son in 2011 and announced that they had divorced in 2013.
Miranda is now married to Snapchat co-founder Evan Spiegel.
Oh, and she’s currently pregnant with her third child!
On the flip side, Orlando Bloom is now engaged to Katy Perry.
They announced the exciting news earlier this year. Sources say that the two are going to take their time planning the wedding and aren’t rushing into anything.
Still, this means that Katy is eventually going to become the step-mother to Orlando and Miranda’s son.
Blended family, FTW.
And Katy and Miranda just proved that they have absolutely no problem being in each other’s lives.
“Thanks for shining bright with me @katyperry ,” Miranda wrote in a post.
Katy was attending a launch event for Kora Organics, founded and hosted by Miranda.
It’s safe to say that people are absolutely losing it.
There’s nothing but praise for the two women who are clearly supporting each other, and aren’t at odds, just because of their history with Orlando.
They’re setting a great example of how to act like mature adults.
Not everything in Hollywood has to be dramatic, and we love that!
Who knows, maybe one day we’ll get a Katy/Miranda collab.
