Very cool, very cool, I get to talk about one of the most brilliant shows on TV nowadays: The Handmaid's Tale.
To put it lightly folks, I'm excited. Because why wouldn't I be?

The Handmaid's Tale is a way too real story about what would happen if women were used only to reproduce.
And if you're reading this article then you definitely watch the show, so we'll skip the details.
Especially since it portrays our world in a very realistic way.
A lot of us can see these things actually happening.
In fact, she had a whole birthday party theme around it.
Which is kind of in bad taste, but anyway.
It's just one of those shows that always keeps you on your toes wanting more.
There have already been plenty of twists and turns that came our way!
And we're not even far in!
Alright, for those of you watching The Handmaid's Tale, we're going to be discussing Season 3.
So, if you're just starting it up or whatever, then this isn't the article for you.
Now that they're gone, I can't wait to talk about this new season, because it's been pretty kick... rear end.
Even though we're only 4 episodes in, I feel like it's never going to end. But in a good way.
Our kick... rear end protagonist who's been doing pretty darn well rebelling against the tyrannical Gilead government.
But I mean, just look at her work. It was like she was born for rebellion.
Entitled "Useful", the episode has some pretty heartbreaking moments, as well as various uplifting ones.
Really, it's a rollercoaster of an episode, something I've come to expect from this rollercoaster of a series.
YAAYYY!
But hold your horses there partner, he's got some bad news. He's going to the front lines of Chicago, which means he'll probably... or as June says, definitely, be killed.
Booo.
Yeah, we see a lot of references to The Windy City in this episode... or, in fact, throughout this whole season.
It's almost like something important is going on there...
Take Nichole to a pro-Chicago rally, there's this whole moment of him finally accepting her as a member of the family, someone asks her name, it's all sweet and whatever yadda yadda yadda.
It shows up once again.
Apparently, not only is the outside world concerned with and supporting the rebels in... er... "The Smelly Onion" but everyone in Gilead is also constantly talking about it.
Alright, let's go back to Season 3 Episode 3 for a sec.
At one point, Commander Lawrence has a bunch of other Commanders over to his house to discuss the fighting in Chicago.
Commander Warren Puttnam says: “The shipment of females arrived from Chicago yesterday".
Which, as disgusting as it sounds, reveals a whole lot about this world and the people in it.
Okay so later in the episode Commander Lawrence takes June to pick out five female captives to become "Marthas" and the rest will go to the Colonies where they will presumably die.
June wants no part in his gross politics, but eventually decides it would be a good thing to have some Marthas on the inside.
So, she picks an IT technician, a journalist, a lawyer, and a thief.
Who do you think these women are? Where do you think they came from?
That's right, these five were from the seemingly unrelated shipment of women from Chicago!
And will stop at nothing to take Gilead down.
So, just like June wanted, she finally has some friends in high places. A lot like the song, if we lived in opposite world.
Unrelated pack of women or not?
Either way, it's going to be fun to see how these women infiltrate the government... and the things they have to do to gain their trust.
