Dustin From 'Stranger Things' New Prank Show Tricks People Into Thinking They Have Jobs And People Are Pissed

Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin on Stranger Things, just got a new show.

He will be hosting a prank show on Netflix. A prank show that tricks people into thinking they have jobs.

Yikes, to say the least.

The new show has people thinking they're employed.

Obviously, this got heavily criticized right away.

Unemployment is not a joking matter, but Netflix seems to think it is.

Netflix announced the news on June 14th.

The show, titled Prank Encounters will stream later this year.

It will have eight episodes.

So what's the premise of the show?

"Each episode of this terrifying and hilarious prank show takes two complete strangers who each think they're starting their first day at a new job," Netflix's press release said.

...sounds kind of awful.

"It's business as usual until their paths collide and these part-time jobs turn into full-time nightmares."

Immediately, Gaten received backlash.

If you can't tell, this tweet is full of sarcasm.

Just for the record, I would not watch something about kicking puppies.

And that's the tea.

It's a tough world out there for people, especially in the job world.

But this irony is on a whole other level.

Just one more tweet.

Some people are toning down how they speak to a child and are doing their best to educate him.

What do you think?

Do you think it's all in good fun? Or is this one step too far for Netflix?
