People Are Seriously Upset About A Picture That John Legend Posted Of Chrissy Teigen

I'm just going to go ahead and say it: John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are one of the hottest couples in Hollywood, and if they ever split up, I will personally pay for their couple's counseling so they can stay together.

Over Father's Day weekend, John shared what should have been a sweet selfie of the two, but instead, fans were pretty upset about it.

Another Father's day has come and gone.

And if you follow John Legend or Chrissy Teigen on Instagram, you'll know that they seemed to really enjoy their day together as a family.

And even though it was Father's Day, John Legend decided to be the adorable husband he is and share a picture of how awesome his wife is.

In the photo that's causing controversy, he and Chrissy are riding in a car, and Chrissy is pumping.

"I know it's Father's Day and all but my wife is pretty awesome. She's taking me to dinner but still on mommy duty," he wrote.

The two just welcomed their son, Miles Theodore, at the end of May.

It just goes to show that a mother's job is never done, even when you're a celebrity.

But as cute as the picture was, it stirred up a lot of controversy, and some fans were really shaken up about it, for some reason.

"Such a disgusting post.

"Everything does not need to be posted," another said.

The general consensus was that a photo of a woman doing what is totally and completely natural was just too inappropriate for some people's sensitive eyes.

Others assumed that John posted the picture of Chrissy without her permission, but let's be real. There's no WAY that John would post the picture without her knowledge.

In fact, they were probably taking bets on how many dramatic comments the photo would get.

Thankfully, for every furious comment on the photo, there were a dozen other comments backing Chrissy and John up.

As there should be.

Chrissy has opened up about her experiences with breastfeeding and pumping in the past.

"If you kind of do the math, you’re kind of breastfeeding for 10 hours a day total. It’s very loving and sweet, but it’s not easy [...] They just use you for your milk and you just feel like you are just a cow all day," she said.

Anybody who has breastfed, chestfed, or pumped before knows that although it's a wonderful experience, it's also no cakewalk.

It's not like Chrissy is pumping in an evening gown in the car because she felt like it. She literally has to, and the last thing a pumping mother needs is criticism.

Assuming that John posted the pic with Chrissy's consent, there's really no reason to hate on the photo.

She's just doing what mothers do, and it's not harming anybody.I guess what I'm trying to say is that the haters need to take a seat and let this couple live their lives.
