Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has been having a pretty rough time lately.
After her husband David Eason shot their family dog a few months ago, her life began to snowball as Child Protection Services began an investigation of her home and family life.
Unfortunately for Evans, what they discovered was less than satisfactory.
Throughout the spin-off show Teen Mom 2 featuring the young mother, there were endless battles between her and her mom, Barbara, over her son Jace, who the grandmother ended up gaining custody over.
She has been arrested over 10 times, has had countless spousal and relationship disputes, and plenty of physical and verbal fights.
She and her husband, David Eason, have lost custody of all of their children.
David thought it was necessary to end the dog's life after it allegedly nipped at their two-year-old daughter.
After testimony from other family members and a horrifying home visit, the two of them have lost custody of Jenelle's son Kaiser, David's daughter Maryssa, their two-year-old daughter Ensley, and all of their visitation rights with Jace.
Evans has not been allowed to see Ensley since her last court hearing, which makes this scene all the more heartbreaking.
You can hear the Teen Mom 2 star say, "I'm giving my daughter a hug. If you have a problem with it...then go get an officer."
As Jenelle's mother says that Ensley needs to eat her lunch, Evans alludes to her daughter being in potential danger living with her grandmother.
When it is time for Jenelle to leave her daughter, Ensley begins to cry out for her mom.
Though it is possible that Ensley's quality of life has improved since being removed from Evans' home, being separated from her mother at such a young age is something that no child should have to go through.
A judge has outlined a plan through which Jenelle and David can regain custody of their children, but it will not be an easy process.
