Reality TV star Beth Chapman's cancer battle has dominated the press recently, and with her and husband Duane “Dog” Chapman's new WGN show hitting screens this summer, we're about to see a lot more of her.
After a seemingly successful battle and remission, she was recently rushed to the hospital and discovered that her cancer had returned.
Rather than go through chemotherapy and radiation a second time, Chapman has instead opted to reject medical treatment "in favor of faith."
With nine seasons of her husband's original show Dog The Bounty Hunter and another three seasons of Dog And Beth On The Hunt, we've watched her and her husband's lives and relationship evolve through the years.
Dog’s Most Wanted will be the first unscripted show on the WGN network in over five years.
While Dog hunts down the bad guys, Beth will be fighting her own battle behind closed doors.
"Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman here. My wife, the love of my life, is fighting for her life," he explains in an exclusive clip, "Instead of being at home helping her, I’m out here looking for you. I’m warning you in advance."
It seems as though Dog has a newfound stamina, motivated by the strength of his wife.
"I don’t go to God and go, 'Why did I get cancer?' " she says, "He’ll roll his eyes at me again, because I know why — because this is the ultimate test of faith."
Dog and his team will be tackling the bounty hunter's "most wanted list" in the new series.
However, the trailer also shows clips of Beth in hospital, so we can count on a good mixture of both Chapmans in the show.
Out of all of the Chapman's shows, Dog's Most Wanted is set to be the most action-packed, dramatic, and potentially heartbreaking series yet.
