It's officially summertime, which means summer picnics, which means you can expect plenty of Jell-O dishes to grace your paper plate. You could opt to dine on the usual flavors (strawberry, grape, orange, yawn.)
Or, you could give your taste buds a treat and introduce them to something extra special and extra sweet: Starburst Jell-O.
According to Cosmopolitan, the powder comes in four delicious flavors: Lemon, Cherry, Blue Raspberry, and All Pink (also known as strawberry but who are we kidding, it's All Pink.)
Instagram user ThreeSnackateers stumbled upon the powdery goodness and shared the news with the world. And the world has rejoiced in return because just imagine the Jell-O shots you could make with these.
The above four flavors appear to be the only ones available in gelatin form so far, but I suspect the company will soon capitalize on the inevitable success of their trip into the Jell-O world and expand their flavor options.
I mean come on, this is one of those lightning-in-a-bottle moments. You can make Starburst Jell-O! And Jell-O shots! Did I mention Jell-O shots?
Starburst hasn't announced anything and they haven't been spotted on any store shelves yet. So far, their only sighting has been at the expo.
After all, summer is basically the season for Jell-O, so what better time to introduce the world to Starburst-flavored gelatin than during the very months when we all want Jell-O the most?
And also, Jell-O shots. I really can't stress that enough.
