J.K. Rowling Announces Four New ‘Harry Potter’ Stories Are On The Way

The Wizarding World of 'Harry Potter' is about to get a little bit bigger as author J.K. Rowling has announced the release of four new stories in the series, Unilad reported.

The stories, which will come in the form of ebooks, will be available for fans to enjoy on Pottermore, Rowling's expertly crafted online world for all things 'Harry Potter'.

It's been 12 years since the seventh and final 'Harry Potter' book was released.

Since then, we've had our 'Harry Potter' appetite satiated with a few more wizard-related content, like the prequel series 'Fantastic Beasts' and the book-turned-Broadway show, 'The Cursed Child.'

But I'd say it's about time for more magical stories. And J.K. Rowling agrees because we're getting four new stories!

But don't expect these stories to bring you more adventures with Harry, Ron, and Hermoine.

We already got seven books with them and some things are better left alone.

Instead, the new installments will be adapted from the audio book of 'Harry Potter – A History of Magic', and will allow fans to delve further into the history of magic.

Get ready to feel like you're studying up for your O.W.L. exams because these books are based on Hogwarts lessons.

On the Pottermore website, the stories are described as being "bitesize reads", and will take readers "back in time once again to learn about the traditional folklore and magic at the heart of the Harry Potter series."

So what can you expect to learn from these new ebooks?

Pottermore

The short answer? Basically everything a student at Hogwarts learns.

The titles of the stories are as follows: "Harry Potter: A Journey Through Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts", "Harry Potter: A Journey Through Potions and Herbology", "Harry Potter: A Journey Through Divination and Astronomy", and finally, "Harry Potter: A Journey Through Care of Magical Creatures."

The books will allow readers to experience the academic life of a Hogwarts pupil.

You can pick your ebook of choice based on the Hogwarts class you always wished you could take. Herbology seemed cool, right? Or are you more of a Defense Against the Dark Arts kind of person? Whichever way you lean, there's a book for that.

Or, if you're like me, you'll indulge in all four to get that full Hogwarts experience.

The first two books will be released on Pottermore on June 27.

That's the Charms and the Defense Against the Dark Arts stories.

Potions and Herbology will follow soon after, although no specific date has been given for those two just yet.

These stories will also feature notes, manuscript pages, and some wonderful sketches to enhance your magical learning experience.
