Cockatiel Performs Queen Songs While Perched On The Arm Of A Freddie Mercury Doll

If I can be totally blunt for a moment, I think we can all agree that some (but not all) birds are basically useless. And yes, I'm definitely talking about seagulls. Someone please tell me what the point of those things are.

However, there are some birds that, while not necessarily serving much purpose, can at least offer their incredible talents to keep the world entertained.

Enter: singing birds.

These are the birds who have learned how to take their ability to carry a tune and become viral sensations.

Take this bird, for instance. Its melodic whistling of the 'Game of Thrones' theme song is enough to make your heart ache for recently completed series.

Or there's this bird who whistles the theme song to the 'Addams Family' show.

Somehow this tune sounds a lot less intimidating when its coming from a brightly-colored cockatiel parrot, whistling it in front of a mirror.

If you really want something to make you smile, check out this bird singing 'If You're Happy And You Know It.'

Why yes, that is a banana in front of him, and yes, he does utilize the banana while singing this happy little tune.

But none of these birds have anything on the cockatiel parrot, MAY-can.

I think it's safe to say this fella might be a bit of a Queen fan, just judging from his song choice and the fact that he is quite literally sitting on the arm of a Freddie Mercury doll while he sings.

Just a hunch.

The Freddie doll acts as the perfect perch for MAY-can's musical performance.

After all, what better way to sing a tribute to the musical styling of Queen than to sit on the yellow leather jacket-clad arm of the great Freddie Mercury himself?

MAY-can delivers an expertly-whistled medley of two Queen songs.

The hits "Radio Gaga" and "Another One Bites the Dust" get new life breathed into them, thanks to this beautifully melodic parrot.

It's just a shame this couldn't have been a performance with the late singer because that would have been incredible.

Knowing how cheeky Mercury could be, we bet he'd have delivered a few clever quips in between singing along with MAY-can balanced delicately on his finger.

Even if we'll never know for sure, I think it's safe to say Freddie would approve of MAY-can's performance.

I'd even go so far as to say he would have been downright honored to have a cockatiel parrot pay tribute to his music with a whistled medley. It just seems like something he would have really enjoyed.
