George R.R. Martin has officially said that we could send him to jail if he hasn't gotten Winds of Winter done by 2020.
So good news for all of us who are waiting desperately for a new novel.

Fans were deeply unsettled with season 8 of 'Game of Thrones'.

There's even a petition to remake the entire season!
A lot of people were upset especially with Dany's heel turn and her death.
So now fans are pretty desperate to know how the books will end.

Luckily, Martin did confirm in one of his blogs that he will have a slightly different ending.
So that's good news, at least.
Fans are curious to see how Dany's fate will be in the book.
That seems to be the biggest question of all.
Martin may just pull the rug out from under us, and give us an even more shocking twist.
At least he is giving fans the option to send him away.
