Okay, okay, we know this is the most unpopular opinion on the planet right now, but there’s actually a good argument for it.
Robert Pattinson is a fantastic actor. Playing Batman would allow him to really break apart from the whole Twilight thing.

He has played dark and dramatic characters, and he’s good at it.
Fun fact: people hated the idea of Heath Ledger playing the Joker.
They hated him because he was too pretty.
And that boy ended up winning an Oscar for his performance.
He knows how to play the character with a tragic past.
He’s played a dark, dramatic vampire. He’s played a thief, he’s played someone traumatized by death.
Seriously, he’s a great actor.
So give the guy a break, because he’s a lot better than people may think.
The movie isn’t even out yet and people are already criticizing his performance.
