Here we are, once again jumping into the world of Game Of Thrones. But will this be... one of the last times we do so? Only the future holds that answer.

So if you haven't seen the newest episode (also known as "the last episode") of Game Of Thrones, then you must avert your eyes! Quick! Here the spoilers come!
Today we're talking Gendry, folks. And boy howdy, it's been a while ride if you're a fan of his. He got to make sweet love, he became a lord and he even got to show up in the finale.
We start out with the common theme of the evening: how good Gendry looked in his little Lord Outfit. Seems everyone was commenting on how much of a "snack" the young man was.
I mean, I'm no authority on the subject or anything, but I can confidently say he was looking quite nice. I would totally copy his look. If I could pull it off.
You know, a certain faceless assassin from the Stark family with an affinity for murder and closing eyes forever? I wouldn't put it past Gendry, who might have been the first hopeless romantic in history.
Which is... honestly, pretty fair. The guy did want to get married as soon as they did the dirty. Then again, I don't really know the sexual politics of Westeros. Maybe this is a thing.
But could that relationship have worked out? Could Gendry hack it in the unknown worlds of West of Westeros? Is he strong enough of a character to thrive in a spin-off?
... Other reasons to leave Westeros. Oh come on, it was their first times (well, kind of, Gendry had that thing with Melisandre, but let's not count it).
There's no way he would have that reaction, though. He's the lord of Storm's End now! He doesn't need Arya!
Technically there's nothing to prove he isn't on the boat with Arya. Technically. Is it likely? Absolutely not, but when it comes to love we don't like to talk about what's "likely."
Wait, did we not establish that Gendry was a Baratheon? Or was it just heavily implied? Jeez, I guess that part of my brain was replaced by "funny Podrick memes".
And god, that song sure does bring back memories of bad breakups.
I wonder if they have a Drake equivalent in Westeros... maybe a traveling minstrel that sings about breakups and frequently shows up to Raptors jousting events?
Arya and Gendry, I mean.
And honestly, that would've been pretty nice (happy endings and all) however, I think that would kill Arya's whole "independent assassin" vibe.
Well, hold on, because isn't Davos a relatively new reader? Let's see, he started in Season 4 and it's been... say, maybe 5 years since then? So he's reading at a fifth-grade level? That isn't so great!
I mean, his story arc is pretty awesome. Went from nothing to a Lord, that's pretty good. Maybe he should've sat on the Iron Throne, I mean, Tyrion did say people love a story.
And I'm kind of with them. Wasn't there a bunch of heirs to the throne still kicking around? And doesn't Jon have the real "best story" out of everyone?
He didn't have to go on a honeymoon cruise with Arya and be happy together forever, but could he at least have gotten to say "goodbye, safe travels, have fun being a pirate" to her?
Nobody can make you feel more embarrassed about a crush (or a one night stand) than your siblings, and we have been sorely missing out on Stark sibling interactions that aren't fraught with the immediate threat of death.
Enough of Twitter's reactions, tell us what you thought of Gendry's last appearance. Was he a snack? Should he have gone with Arya? Are you going to shame him for his illiteracy?
Only the future holds that answer.
