With each occupation comes a set of potential hazards that people aren't always aware of.
For instance, although being a chef isn't often the first example we may think of when we list dangerous jobs, it seems pretty obviously hazardous when we consider how many sharp objects and extremely hot objects they have to handle in a very efficient fashion.
But even jobs that are defined by how little equipment they involve can carry their own risks and some of them come as a surprise to even the performers.
After all, it seems unlikely that one adult film star would ever have guessed that she would need to undergo the procedure she shared in the full video.
Be advised that the video contains some moderately graphic surgery footage.
But unless you're one of her Instagram followers, you may not be aware that she's a massive fan of the Washington Capitals.
There are certainly no shortage of photos that show her rinkside.
As she wrote on Instagram, " I got hit in the boob with a puck during the game, and I’m 80% sure it ruptured an implant."
Khalifa described being hit so hard that she initially felt like she had been shot. Dr. Calvert considered the possibility that her breast implant saved her life by absorbing that impact.
This case of "puck boob," as Khalifa started calling it, resulted not only in breasts of different sizes, but that sat at different levels.
This was more than a little inconvenient for her, so she reached out to Calvert to repair the damage.
First, this required getting some blood work done, which went without incident.
Instead, Khalifa was set to undergo what he called a "fat graft" to replace the lost tissue.
This fat was taken from Khalifa's sides at the abdomen level, also known as the flanks, and drawn into these syringes.
Dr. Calvert also had to process the fat by transferring it to other syringes as a way of breaking tissue connections between fat cells.
The fewer connections between these cells, the more precisely Calvert can determine how much he needs to inject. The more precisely he can do this, the more likely these fat cells are to survive in Khalifa's breast.
Since the procedure was wasn't terribly invasive, Khalifa would only need a few days to recover, although he said she should avoid much physical activity or heavy lifting for a few weeks.
Khalifa also wouldn't be able to vape for another 90 days because this would affect her oxygen supply, which decreases her transferred fat tissue's chances of survival.

Like a puck-proof mylar vest, or maybe a full protective kit with a chest guard like the players wear out on the ice.
Something tells me that won't be the case.
