10+ Iconic Twitter Reactions To The News Of Meghan Markle And Prince Harry's Baby

It feels like we've been waiting about 100 years for this day to come since finding out that Meghan Markle was pregnant— seriously, this seemed like the longest pregnancy ever — but it's finally happened.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcome their first child into the world this morning.

Prince Harry announced that he and Meghan are "absolutely thrilled" to welcome their baby boy, delivered at 05:26 BST.

Buckingham Palace has since revealed that the baby was born weighing 7lbs 3oz, and that Prince Harry was present during the birth.

"I haven't been at many births. This is definitely my first birth. It was amazing, absolutely incredible, and, as I said, I'm so incredibly proud of my wife," Harry said.

Harry and Meghan have demanded their privacy throughout Meghan's entire pregnancy — which still stands.

The pair haven't introduced the baby to the public just yet, revealed the baby's name, or shared any details of the delivery — Unlike the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who have always put their newborns on display, hours after being born, on the hospital steps, surrounded by paparazzi.

Naturally, the tweets have come pouring in, congratulating the happy couple on their first child.

This fan pointed out how long Meghan's pregnancy felt, comparing it to the typical length of a giraffe's pregnancy, which is usually 14-15 months.

Other fans are just relieved that the whole thing is over — tweeting that they can finally breathe again.

The anticipation is officially over, we know the sex of the baby, and we'll soon know the baby's name.

The majority of fans were gushing over Prince Harry's announcement of the baby's arrival.

He was absolutely beaming with joy. It was adorable.

This person tweeted how cute it was to hear Harry talking about his baby.

This person congratulated the new parents and tweeted that they're hopeful that Meghan and Harry don't have to face many hateful comments.

Unfortunately, due to some controversial dynamics of their relationship, they have had to face their fair share of haters.

But hopefully, they can get some peace for a little while, welcoming their adorable family addition.

Another fan hilariously shared a clip from "The Lion King" in reference to the newborn royal baby.

This is basically how I imagine all royal babies are welcomed into the world — with Rafiki majestically lifting them into the air.

Some fans were glad that Meghan and Harry managed to shield their little one from the paparazzi, and break the news on their own terms.

They also tweeted that they're hoping the baby gets a "cool name" — possibly one that no one is expecting.

This person pointed out that Meghan and Harry's son was born in the same month that they got married.

The couple tied the knot on May 19th, 2018. Almost exactly one year ago.

Former professional American tennis player, Billie Jean King, tweeted how glad she is that Meghan and Harry's son has the chance to be raised by such progressive parents.

They've defied so many royal stereotypes and traditions, making their family of three a staple in royal family history.

One fan tweeted a shot of Kate Middleton and Prince William introducing their newborn, George, to a swarm of paparazzi as they left the hospital.

They also explained that Meghan and Harry's baby is seventh in line to the throne, so you can't really blame them for not wanting to subject themselves and their baby to this.

Some fans thought that Prince Harry's glowing pride reminded them of Princess Diana.

Many fans tweeted that they wish she could have been around for this moment — but that they see her smile in Prince Harry's.

This fan was wondering why Prince Harry made the announcement of his son's arrival in front of two horses.

They jokingly asked if Meghan gave birth in the stables.

This person zoomed in on one of the horse's faces over Harry's right shoulder.

They jokingly compared our excitement to that horse's expression.

It's accurate, not gonna lie.
