People Are Already Romanticizing Ted Bundy Thanks To Zac Efron's New Movie

Admit it, you kind of saw this coming. Immediately upon the announcement of this casting, people were divided. Some believed in Zac Efron, and others were afraid that people would focus way too much on how hot he would be in the movie.

While some reviews are filtering in praising his amazing performance, others are trying (and failing) at separating Efron from the character. Because of that, they're accidentally falling for Ted Bundy in the process!

Originally, when Zac Efron was casted as Ted Bundy, people had a lot to say about it.

Many people were unhappy, thinking that the High School Musical star didn't have what it took to pull off such an infamous person. Those who thought that were definitely proven wrong.

Thankfully, some people on social media were already preparing themselves for the onslaught of tweets that were going to come their way.

Apparently, we live in a world where physical attraction can occasionally cloud reason and judgment.

We're starting off by showing one of the tamer tweets.

At least this person is completely aware of the fact that they shouldn't be romanticizing Ted Bundy. If anything it's just a call out to how great an actor Zac Efron is.

It's important to give credit where credit is due.

This user at least clearly understands that their viewpoint is definitely strange. They, at least, can take comfort in the fact that they are not alone.

This user is definitely acknowledging the existential crisis they are going through by watching this film.

Thankfully, they are a bigger fan of Efron's acting chops than his appearance.

This user is just not into it at all, and with good reason.

While it's all good to stare at Zac Efron throughout the promotional tour, finding him hot while he's committing violent acts may not be the way to go.

And this is the true tea.

There is definitely a trend in which people have romanticized hot actors playing serial killers, and it seriously bothers others. Especially when you actually go into their past and look at all the terrible things they've done.

Everyone has their own opinions, and we want to hear yours!
