Twitter Is Blowing Up With Allegations Of Prince William Cheating On Kate Middleton

The Royals are the reason I get up in the morning. Okay, wellā€” maybe that's a bit dramatic, but they are a huge love of mine.

Royal weddings? I'm totally gagged!

Royal babies? What a riot!

So when something... negative comes out in the press about my royal family, I am quick to take umbrage.

Recently, all the royal hype has been around the gorgeous (and v pregnant) Meghan Markle and her *kinda* new hubby Prince Harry.

And I mean, who can blame us? They're truly such a stunning couple.

But while the spotlight has left Prince William and Kate Middleton, they've kept it totally cute and casual — continuing to make beautiful babies and dedicate their time to philanthropic work.

The pair have stayed low-key and blissfully drama free, until recently.

For the past few weeks, unsupported rumors of Prince Williams cheating on Kate Middleton having been swirling around the dark corners of the Internet.

But of course, no one believed the rumors and knew it was just total trash.

Obviously, Twitter has had a lot to say about the whole thing.

Amid the rumors, many have pointed out that this is exactly what broke up the royal family many decades ago.

If you're less familiar with royal drama than some, allow me to take you back in time briefly.

Princess Diana, mother to Prince Harry and Prince William, was once married to Prince Charles. The nature of their marriage always left the people somewhat jarred, as Princess Diana was not what the royals, or the world, were used to seeing.

Amid rumors of affairs and a failing marriage, Diana and Charles divorced "amicably" according to a statement released by the royal family, in the early '90s.

Then, during a tell-all interview, Diana confirmed the suspicions that Charles had cheated on her, infamously saying "There were three of us in this marriage, so it was a bit crowded."

So, one can see why these allegations against Prince William are pretty damn hefty.

People are hitting present-day allegations on the nose with reactions — and it's objectively hilarious.

However, there seems to be a little more to the rumors than we think.

New allegations have come forward on Twitter and the social media-verse is in a total tizzy.

Coming up on their eight year wedding anniversary, no less.

Twitter user @AnuliKay posted a series of tweets that have gone viral in just a few hours.

The tweets feature writer Nicole Cliffe, and her own "personal editorializing" about what exactly has been going down between Kate and Wills.

The notoriously gossipy British tabloid "The Sun" reported that Kate and Wills had called off their friendship with their friends the Cholmondeley's.

The source claimed it was because William was having an affair with Rose Hanbury, Kate's good friend and the wife of his good friend, David RockĀsavage.

The pair are incredibly wealthy and well connected as the Marquess and Marchioness of Cholmondeley.

However, that's literally all we know, lol. There is no evidence, no further legitimate sources backing up the idea that Wills cheated on Kate.

However, this is where Nicole Cliffe steps in with her own conspiracies. She believes William told Harry about the affair, which is what has caused the rift between them, not Meghan, as many people suspected.

Now personally, I don't believe this series of events. There's a lot of unidentified "sources" and personal embellishments.

I do think it's absolutely trash how disgusting the media has been to sweet Meghan for literally no reason, but I don't think it's because Harry is mad at William for cheating and therefore causing palpable brotherly tension.

Whether it's true or not, though, the press remains adamant about their sucky takes on Meghan.

She truly can't seem to catch a break. But it doesn't seem likely that this shady coverage has anything to do with the princes' alleged feud. We'd chalk it up to good ol' British racism.

And by the looks of it, it seems like a lot of people agree with that sentiment.

The truth about the rumors is less important than the underlying attitude towards Prince William, as compared to Meghan.

I think we can all agree the media needs to leave sweet Meghan alone and stop calling her out for irrelevant nonsense.

She is a glowing, preggers princess Duchess and she deserves none of this. Leave my royal family alone!
