We Finally Know What Happened To Ed Sheeran's Character On 'Game Of Thrones'

What Game Of Thrones fan can forget about Ed Sheeran's cameo during the season seven premiere episode? Well, it seems like many can forget it, as it was short and quite displeasing.

Most fans weren't thrilled with the crossover at all.

His character had one scene — in a forest, singing around a camp fire.

It was very on brand for Ed, minus the roasting rabbit.

Remember when I said fans weren't thrilled? Well, the hate got so bad he had to delete his Twitter account.

He wrote on Instagram, “Had to get off it completely, wasn’t doing anything good for anyone’s sanity. I’m gonna be more present on here and work out things we can all do as a fan base. Love you all, you all rule x.”

Well, we'd all thought Ed's character had kind of disappeared after that one episode two years ago, but alas — we have answers!

In the premiere episode of season eight, while Bronn was engaging with three naked women, the subject of last season’s battle between the Lannister army and Targaryen forces came up.

The battle apparently included some seriously powerful dragons, one of which apparently caught Ed (or Eddie) in its flames.

One of the women stated, “That boy Eddie came back with his face burned right off. He’s got no eyelids now.”

Well, there ya have it folks! What a tragic ending to a tragic cameo, lol.
