In case you missed it, the trailer for the upcoming "Joker" movie just dropped.
It stars Joaquin Phoenix, and we get to see a lot of the Joker's backstory, which is pretty chilling.
As we all know, the late Heath Ledger is very well-known for playing the Joker in "The Dark Knight".
His performance has been praised even years after his death.
But now that Joaquin is in the picture, people think that there's some competition.

It's not fair to compare the two — especially not until the full movie comes out.
It's kind of hard to compare the two Jokers since they'll have two completely different plot lines.
We didn't really get a Joker backstory in The Dark Knight so this upcoming movie will make for an interesting twist.
Of course, some people think that there's absolutely no replacing Heath.
