Lifetime Revealed Who They Cast As Meghan Markle And Prince Harry And It's Bizarre

If you had a movie made about your life, who would you love to have play you?

I'd have to go with Emma Stone. Not that I look anything like her, but I feel like we share the same level of quirk, so it would all work out in the end.

When you become a member of the royal family, it's pretty much guaranteed that Lifetime is going to make a movie about you.

It's like a rite of passage or something.

They released "William & Kate: The Movie", just days before the two tied the knot.

Kate was played by Grey's Anatomy star, Camilla Luddington. William was played by New Zealand actor, Nico Evers-Swindell.

To nobody's surprise, the movie received negative reviews across the board.

Now, you might be saying to yourself, don't Meghan and Harry already have a movie?

And the answer would be yes. Yes they do.

Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance came out last year.

But one movie just isn't enough, and Lifetime announced that they'd be making "Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal" with a new cast.

Don't ask me why. I have no idea.

They just announced who landed the parts of Meghan and Harry, and it's interesting, to say the least.

Tiffany Marie Smith is set to play Meghan, and Charlie Field will be playing Harry.

Of course, people on Twitter didn't hesitate to share their thoughts on the casting choices.

Right away, some people felt that the movie being made at all was disrespectful.

And as for the look-alike actors, well...

It's fair to say that Meghan's actress looks similar enough, but Harry's?

Not so much.

When you're casting actors to play the roles of very well-known people, you're likely going to face criticism.

There's really no winning here.

What do you think of the casting choices?
