ZARA Changed Their Logo And People Are Having A Hard Time With It

It's safe to say that some people handle change better than others, right?

After ZARA changed its logo recently, a lot of people are having a hard time coping, proving that change sucks.

ZARA is known for a lot of things.

I strongly relate to never being able to find anything cute when I go shopping, but everyone else always has sucess.

Remember when Instagram tried to update for an hour and then said "JUST KIDDING!"

People were about to throw their whole damn phone out when they saw that Insta wanted us to "swipe left" in stead of scroll through our feed.

Recently, ZARA kicked up a storm of their own after they changed their logo.

The basic idea is the same, but they literally just squished their letters to be much closer together.

People have a lot of feelings about the logo.

Remember what I said about change?

Yeah. There are a lot of shoppers who aren't a fan.

People are taking this change VERY seriously.

I never thought that I'd see people actually disappointed in a logo, but crazier things have happened I guess.

It wasn't long ago that Slack changed up their logo, and people weren't happy about it.

Just when we thought that things couldn't get any crazier in the graphic design world.

To be honest, I wasn't that bothered by the logo until I saw this.

And now I'm not sure if I'll ever have a decent night's sleep ever again.

This hits a little too close to home.

IDK why this tweet is screaming at me, but I don't appreciate it.

At least this validates my theory that I haven't actually gone up six dress sizes the second I walk into their store.

Still rude but kk.

Nassos Kappa is trying to school us on Zara's 'art' and 'direction' and while I appreciate the thought — absolutely not.

A luxurious brand, you say? Don't tell my wallet that.

"They speak to a different audience."

Well excuseeeeeeeeee me. Obviously we're just not artsy enough to get the logo, guys.

Some people think other brands will follow in the clothing stores direction.

Aldo gurl, quit playing yourself now and take several seats.

People may be getting jobs out of the logo switch though! Just watch these sick graphic design skillzzzz.

That's big money, baby.

Okay, at the end of the day, I know it's just a logo.

And yes, there are plenty more important issues to worry about in this world.

But let us be upset about this for like, five minutes, okay?

Because if we don't speak out, ZARA will continue to run amok and we simply can't let that happen.

Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
