The Internet Thinks That Miley Cyrus Is Pregnant And Her Response Is Iconic

2019 has brought us a lot of things.

We watched a photo of an egg gain the most Instagram likes in history.

We've seen an abundance of #10YearChallenges.

And just recently, we witnessed many people believe that Miley Cyrus was pregnant with a baby girl.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are possibly one of my favorite couples in Hollywood.

Their relationship just seems so real. Even when they split up, it made sense. They both matured and eventually found each other again.

As we all know by now, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth tied the knot in December of 2018.

It was probably the best way to end the year. Everyone was so happy for them!

After all these years, they're still clearly very much in love.

And now they're ready to start a new chapter in their lives. How exciting!

Since their wedding, Miley and Liam have been keeping busy!

Well, especially Miley.

She's currently out and about promoting her new music, which is a major bop, for the record.

Even though Miley is currently out there killing it, there are always going to be people that like to start rumors about you.

And that's exactly what happened when word spread that she was pregnant.

An "unnamed source" confirmed that Miley and Liam were expecting a baby girl.

And of course, the internet fell for it.

A photo had surfaced of Miley wearing a baggy shirt.

Thanks to an unflattering angle, her stomach looked a little bigger than normal, and people took it for a baby bump.

It just goes to show that you shouldn't believe everything you read.

Thankfully, Miley was quick to shut down that rumor in the most iconic way.

She edited the "baby bump" photo with that Instagram egg, and made about 900 egg puns.

It's funny because this isn't the first time that rumors have swirled about Miley's potential pregnancy.

It's a weird, twisted rite of passage to have a pregnancy rumor spread about you in Hollywood.

Back in 2017, rumors swirled after Miley showed off her "bump" over Thanksgiving.

She was quick to shut that down as well, saying it was a lot of turkey.

Fair.

So no, Miley and Liam are not expecting a baby girl.

And can we just stop assuming that any time a woman is bloated, she has a baby bump? It's weird and rude.

Let's focus on what's really important here.

She performed at I Am the Highway: A Tribute to Chris Cornell the other night and her hair is giving us major old Miley vibes.

That's the real news story here.
