Kate Middleton's Brother Made His Instagram Public And We Have Thoughts

If you marry into the royal family, it's well-known that you have to give up certain aspects of your life. For example, Meghan Markle had to close down all of her social media accounts when she got engaged to Prince Harry.

If you're the brother of a royal, however, there are exceptions, and you can bet we love that loophole.

The second that Kate Middleton started dating Prince William, the world wanted to know everything about her.

We learned that she had two younger siblings, Pippa and James.

Still, all of them lived a relatively private life.

However, we just discovered that James made his Instagram account public.

It's safe to say that we've officially gone into full lurk mode.

It's blatantly obvious that James has a passion for animals.

Most of his pictures are of dogs, or him standing next to dogs.

Neither of which I'm upset about.

No, really. He loves dogs.

He also shared a picture of one of the dogs he works with who became a PAT (pet as therapy) dog this year. "Advocates of animal-assisted therapy say that developing a bond with an animal can help people develop a better sense of self-worth and trust, stabilise their emotions, and improve their communication, self-regulation, and socialisation skills," he wrote.

He also has a really cute selfie with a lamb.

This photo alone puts James as one of the top contenders for my favorite Instagram account ever.

He seems to be travelling all the time.

And apparently likes to do cannonballs in the sand because he's related to a royal and can do that kind of stuff, okay?

I think he's a little (or a lot) into steampunk — depending on if he was attending a costume party or just a regular day.

I can't be certain.

Despite an extensive lurk session, I'm sad to report that there's no pictures of Kate or the royal family anywhere in his feed.

But that was to be expected. I'm sure there's a strict royal rule about that.

Still, his Instagram is good for a lurk if you're bored, and want to see a bunch of cute dog pictures. Happy lurking!
