There are a few notoriously diva-like celebs that pride themselves on being high-maintenance and sassy, like Mariah Carey, or the Kardashians. But they're not the only ones that have had shady moments show up on our radar.
It's probably difficult for celebs not to let fame go to their heads. They're rich and good-looking, so sometimes, they get a little bit full of themselves, and their behavior starts to get questionable, to say the least.
We all remember the Nickelodeon show with Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande, Sam & Cat, that came to a sudden halt, because of some behind-the-scenes drama.
Jennette later released this massive statement on TwitLonger, saying "We aren't better friends because being friends with you takes the "better" out of me. In fact, I might possibly be the worst version of myself when I'm around you."
"Where did I go? As far away from you as I can get. You won't be hearing from me anymore because sweetheart, being a friend to you was doing so much more for you than it was doing for me. You sucked the life right out of me, and I want my life back."
(sips tea).
"If we had done a cast tour Nickelodeon would have ordered another season of Victorious while Sam & Cat filmed simultaneously but she chose otherwise," Ari said on her AskFM, adding "I'm tired of this bs."
This was Victoria Justice's response to that.
In a blog post, a dad described what it was like for his daughters to meet Ariana Grande after winning a contest. After taking a selfie with Ari, she demanded that the girl delete the photos right away.
"'Delete those pictures, please," she said. "Can I just keep the one of my sister showing you the drawing?" asked the girl. Ari then turned to her security guard and said, "Make sure she deleted those."
A source told Star Magazine that Ari was very controlling on set and demanded to only be filmed on her left side.
“She was a total nightmare,” explained the source “She demanded to be shot only on her left side and told the lighting crew that if they used red light, she would ‘kill herself.'”
Yikes.
After winning Best Female Hip-Hop Artist at the BET Awards, Nicki got on stage to give her acceptance speech, and says that she writes all her own music. Unlike Iggy Azalea, who was nominated in the same category.
Then, to make things even better, she gestures sipping tea, and says "no shade" -- which we all know means "lots of shade".
Mariah has always been the ultimate pop diva, but come on, this is too much.
If ever you weren't sure if she was a true diva or not, this was the nail in the coffin. Case closed.
An interviewer asked what Mariah thought of J-Lo, and her response was legendary.
"I don't know her" always has, and always will be the simplest most elegant shade ever thrown at someone.
In an interview with Barbara Walters, when asked what she thought of Nicki Minaj's lyrics in the song Hell Yeah, Mariah responds by saying that she didn't even know Nicki sang. She thought she rapped, or whatever.
The "or whatever" part just screams shade.
I get it, nobody looks good under fluorescent lighting, but wow.
Haven't you heard that you're supposed to respect your elders?
During an interview, the interviewer started coughing while Christina was talking, and she said: "Coughing during my interview, really? Hahaha. Shoot him."
God forbid somebody have a cold in her presence.
Back in 2011, Ciara made a comment about Rihanna, saying that she "wasn't the nicest". Things got pretty out of hand after that.
Rihanna took to Twitter to retaliate to Ciara's comment, and it was shady as hell.
As if Rihanna's response couldn't get any shadier, she then disses Ciara's relevancy as an artist. Very harsh, but I'm still loving it.
In comparison to Rihanna, we're all peasants. We know it, clearly, she knows it, and she isn't afraid to remind us.
Textbook, diva.

When Katy Perry won an award at the MTV Video Music Awards, the award was presented to her by Kanye. She thanked him, and then stepped up to the mic and said "Do you wanna interrupt me, Kanye?"
Back in 1991, an interviewer asked Cher if she goes jogging, like Madonna, and then added, "I thought that was a subtle way to drag her in". Then Cher replied, "how about dragging her in by her hair?"
Ouch!
Okay, this is way too much.
We all know Kim is a diva, but have someone else hold her phone for her, on selfie mode, is a little bit ridiculous. Especially when she's extending her arm anyway to make it look like she's filming it herself.
Her reaction to losing an earring was definitely spoiled and melodramatic. It's not like she can't afford a new pair, amirite?
