I don’t know about you, but I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m a pretty jealous person. I have to be the center of attention at pretty much all times, especially when it comes to my husband! I definitely don’t have it in me to be a sister wife — just being a wife by myself is tough enough!
Christine Brown from Sister Wives is opening up that jealousy isn’t something she’s exempt from just because of her plural marriage.

The show, which has run since 2010, follows polygamist Kody Brown and his four wives — Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn — as they raise their 18 children and navigate their very unique home life.

The family is not immune to drama.
In November last year, the family made headlines when rumors began swirling that wife Meri may have split from Kody, due to him not appearing in her Instagram pictures for over a year and the fact that she seemed to no longer be wearing her wedding ring.
Meri seemed to address these rumors in a post made in December.
“Let’s just clarify something here. I love this man,” she wrote, alongside a photo with Kody. “I don’t owe anyone an explanation but I’ll do it anyway. I’m well aware that we, as a family, have chosen to put ourselves ‘out there’, which, in turn, brings about all kinds of speculation, commentary, and opinions. But it comes down to this. My relationship with him is MY relationship with him.”
“I love him. I love my family. I’m committed,” she shared.
“We struggle. We communicate. We repair relationships as the parties involved are willing and able,” she continued.
Now, more of the family is sharing their struggles on the show and opening up about the issues their family faces.
Kody’s third wife, Christine, opened up during the season 10 premiere about the struggles she’s facing in their relationship.
The family has recently moved to Arizona, where they no longer live in one home together — each wife has her own household. “It’s not just that we are geographically different, because I expected geographically different. But what I didn’t expect was to feel isolated and feel separate,” Christine said . “It feels lonely.”
Christine also pointed out that Kody is often on his phone when they’re together.
“When I am on my phone, it’s because I don’t feel like engaging. So it’s not an addiction to the phone — it’s an excuse to separate from the angst in our relationship,” Kody told her.
I’ve known a few people who use their phones like that — my KIDS for one!
“I’m really sorry — I still get jealous,” Christine explained.
“I still get super, super, super jealous and I’m really, really, really sorry,” Christine said, adding, “it makes getting together hard — really, really hard.”
I can’t imagine what there is to be jealous about when your husband is married to three other women!
“Maybe I don’t like me either,” Christine added.
“I thought I’d be stronger on my own, but I’m not. And it’s really hard to just feel like I can contribute anything. It’s hard to find that balance of being strong and not being a bitch,” Christine finished.
I definitely know that struggle. I’ve mostly given up on the last part, though!
Fans have been sharing their feelings about Christine’s confession on social media.
“Christine is always so fun and light, it breaks my heart seeing her have such a hard time,” one fan wrote .
“Christine has always been my favorite and I want her to be happy. I hope that this season she and Meri finally leave Kody. I think they would be happier,” another added .
Some were entertained by the drama.

“Everyone silently agreeing with Christine, they don’t like her. We’re cool with it,” another tweeted .
