Kim Kardashian Slams Fans Who Questioned Her Daughter's Painting: 'How Dare You'

It's no secret that moms can often be incredibly protective of their children, especially if they feel they might be being unfairly criticized.

It turns out that's no different when your mom is Kim Kardashian, who took to social media in a passionate defense of her seven-year-old daughter, North's art skills.

Kim Kardashian is a woman of many titles.

She's a reality star, a socialite, a model, a businesswoman, a producer, an actress, and an aspiring lawyer! On top of that already impressive resumé, Kim is also the mother of four children.

Kim is obviously a super proud mom.

Kim is often on social media highlighting how much she loves all of her kids and how proud she is of all of their accomplishments in life, which is so sweet to see!

Sometimes, though, the reaction to sharing those moments isn't what Kim anticipates.

Kim Kardashian recently shared a painting that North made on her Instagram.

The landscape painting of a mountain by a lake was incredibly well done!

Some fans began speculating that North wasn't actually the artist behind the painting. "Kim Kardashian’s child did not paint this," one fan shared, while many others echoed the sentiment.

Some fans didn't believe a seven-year-old child would be capable of painting on the level North was.

"I refuse to believe: the kardashians would not be exploiting their daughters baby genius art skills at some point before this random insta story, [or] -that kim is in touch with reality enough to troll people like this," one fan shared.

Others, however, came to Kim and North's defense.

"Speaking as an artist who’s made art my whole life, this is definitely within the skill range or a 7 y/o w access to the best teachers & best materials! A lot of times teachers do one example of each thing (like the one really good tree branch lol) & have the kid do the rest," one fan explained.

One woman on TiKTok claimed she knew North had painted it, because her mother was North's art teacher!

“I actually can’t believe right now that I’m being put in a position where I am probably one of the only people in the world who has evidence to prove that Kim is not lying,” she said in the video, posing in front of a very similar painting as North's.

“My mom taught me how to paint this and she taught North how to paint the same one just two weeks ago,” she said.

“She’s been an art teacher for 30 years and everyone that comes through her classes goes through this exact same painting when they’re starting out.”

Kim spoke out against those who doubted North in a fiery post.

"DON'T PLAY WITH ME WHEN IT COMES TO MY CHILDREN!!!" Kim wrote in a lengthy post shared to her Instagram story. "My daughter and her best friend have been taking a serious oil painting class where their talents and creativity are being encouraged and nurtured."

"North worked incredibly hard on her painting [which] took several weeks to complete."

"As a proud mom, I wanted to share her work with everyone," Kim continued. "I'm seeing op-ed pieces in the media and social media from grown adults breaking down whether or not my child actually painted this!"

"How dare you see children doing awesome things and then try to accuse them of NOT being awesome?!"

"Please stop embarrassing yourselves with the negativity and allow every child to be great!" Kim wrote. "NORTH WEST PAINTED THAT [PERIOD]!"
