Fans Are Feeling Nostalgic After 'Punky Brewster' Reboot Trailer Drops

Punky Brewster is back, baby! That's right, the beloved '80s sitcom starring Soleil Moon Frye is getting the 2021 reboot treatment on NBC's new streaming service, Peacock! While the show doesn't premiere until the end of the month, fans got a first look at the series with a newly released trailer, and naturally — people are losing their minds!

If you grew up in the '80s, there's a VERY good chance *Punky Brewster* holds a special place in you heart.

The show followed Penelope "Punky" Brewster and her dog, Brandon, after the two were abandoned at a Chicago supermarket. The pair eventually find a new home with their foster parent Henry Warnimon, and make friends along the way like Cherie Johnson, Allen Anderson and Margaux Kramer.

The beloved show ran four seasons from 1984 to 1988 and now, it's back!

The highly anticipated reboot trailer has finally DROPPED!

A few moments later, Soleil posted an emotional tribute to those who made the reboot possible.

Fans couldn't be more excited for the reboot.
